OUR STORY
As a professional hairstylist and makeup artist dedicated to making actresses and models look their best, founder Robin Emtage became frustrated with the lack of hair oils that delivered any lasting benefits. Most styling serums and oils available were full of harsh chemicals, preservatives, and silicones giving the hair an artificial shine instead of nutrients.
Having grown up watching her grandmother make coconut oil for hair treatments, she saw an opportunity to create a completely natural, organic product to improve the health of the hair and make it silky, smooth, and shiny. Drawing inspiration from ancient beauty traditions and sourcing ingredients globally from regions where women are renowned for using pure botanical oils with beautiful results - SILKTÁGE was born.
SILKTÁGE now spans over 12 luxury rejuvenating face, body and hair oils, and rose quartz beauty tools, adding that extra glow to it - a collection of organic CBD beauty oils.
We source many of our ingredients from women’s cooperatives around the world - time-proven and effective - delivering noticeable results and visible improvement for silky, youthful radiance and glow.
