Unlike other oils such as olive oil, which are liquid at room temperature, virgin non-processed coconut oil is a solid at room temperature. Dr. Fitzpatrick has uniquely formulated organic topical combinations allowing ENT Naturals to provide high concentration of virgin, organic, non-processed coconut oil in a LIQUID form. This is accomplished without refinement which preserves the natural integrity of the coconut oil.
Commercial coconut oil is made from copra or the dried kernel meat of coconut and goes through refining, bleaching and deodorizing processes. These processes alter the oils and despite marketing, are not natural.
On the other hand, virgin coconut oil (VCO) is obtained from fresh mature kernel of the coconut by natural means without the use of hear and without undergoing chemical refining (Villarinoa et al 2007). This is the basis for our all ENT Natural organic topical products.
Unrefined oil serves as the basis of SENSES ear and nose mists. Preserving the key medium chain fatty acid, especially auric acid is priority. Laurie acid makes up 50% of coconut oil. This is largely lost in the refinement of commercial available liquid coconut oils. Dr. Fitzpatrick’s lack of refinement preserves all the natural benefits of VCO.
Inflammation in the respiratory system is a key factor in many common ENT aliments; related to oxidative stress to a variety of airborne allergens and infections.

INGREDIENTS
Coconut Oil (organic) Unrefined, non-hydrogenated virgin organic coconut oil (cocos nucifera) has innate antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties. Botanically, the coconut is a drupe, and not a nut, as many would think, therefore free of nut allergic type reactions.
Jojoba Oil (organic)
Jojoba oil is the liquid produced in the seed of the Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) plant, a shrub, which is native to southern Arizona, southern California, and northwestern Mexico.
The structure of jojoba oil closely resembles that of your own skin sebum. Because of this, it has a natural affinity to the skin and is readily absorbed without making the skin feel greasy, does it clog the pores and helps to balance the production of sebum - your skin's own lubricating medium.
Organic jojoba oil is one of the more stable oils and is known to be a good lubricant with excellent moisturizing ability.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E has many benefits for the skin. Topically applied, vitamin E is an excellent moisturizer that helps keep the skin healthy and soft. This valuable nutrient locks moisture into the skin and prevents dehydration.
Black Cumin Oil (Nigella Sativa) (organic)
Black Cumin Oil or Black seed oil or genus name Negella Sativa is a long-standing medicinal plant that has been used over the past 2000 years. It is an annual flowering plant in the family Ranunculaceae, native to south and southwest Asia. Its use is broad for both acute and chronic issues with a variety of pharmacological properties, which include anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-histaminic, anti-microbial components.
Mineral Oil Mineral oil and petrolatum are known to be efficacious in skin replenishing and are also among the most effective, established moisturizing ingredients available.

Many ear drops contain steroids which can be harmful over time, however ENT Naturals harness natural fatty acids to accomplish this without the use of steroids.
