When Edward was called to serve his country, he did not want to risk losing the love of his life and asked Ina Rae to become his wife. Soon after they were wed, he was deployed and during this time of separation they wrote love letters to each other. These are the letters that we share with you.
Ina Rae was fond of red lipstick and the letters were often marked with a crimson kiss and ended her letters with “Love, Rae”. She shared her love of makeup with her children and grandchildren. To them, it represents love. This is why we decided to release our makeup line. It is about more than the color but also about how it makes someone feel.
