Great Foundations

This is my new favorite foundation. The only reason I didn't give this sample pack 5 stars is because, since i'm very fair, only the lightest worked for me. I really wish Illuminare could do a sample pack for light skin with the 3 lightest shades, but oh well.
I expected only one of the three to work well, but actually all three formulas worked on my extremely dry skin (I just put a heavy moisturizer under the Matte foundation.) Though the Fantastic Finish does tend to slide a little during the course of a full day, even on my skin which has *no* oil whatsoever. The Extra Coverage is amazing, smooth, blends in easily, full coverage, and doesn't budge all day!

Pros:

Great way to sample all three formulas
Lasts a long time, even though they're small

Cons:

Only one shade is pale enough for fair skin

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I hate wasting money on products that end up not measuring up to my expectations. For $10.00 I was able to try several foundations and finally found the one that is perfect for me. I would not have discovered the right foundation if it had not been offered in such a cheap and effective manner.

NICE DEWY FOUNDATION

I received the sample pack of foundations and was very happy with them. I'm very fair and so the porcelain was the right shade for me in the Fantastic Finish foundation. It has the best dewy finish of any foundations I've tried. I liked it so much that I ordered the full size version. Despite the fact that the directions say to use a tiny bit as it goes far., its a very small tube and I don't think its worth $27.00 I also like the sample of Extra Coverage foundation which I've been using as a concealer. Its excellent and covers beautifully. However the full tube is just too expensive for such a small amount. I'd be happy to pay more if it came in a larger tube. A ll in all I love the product but until its offered in a larger quantity I'm afraid I'll have to pass and keep on my search for a dewy foundation. However, I think I would buy the Extra Coverage foundation as one only needs to use a very small amount to cover under eye dark circles.

Its very dewy

Cons:

much too small a quantity for the price

Illuminare makeup is the best foundation ever

This sampler was a great way for me to choose just the right color/shade and type of foundation for my skin. Illuminare foundations were unique to me in that like mineral fondations they are good for your skin but also come in a creamy foundation. I liked this idea as I have very dry skin in the winter.

Pros:

Great for skin health overall and luminescent glow is great for my 30 something skin!

Cons:

The only downfall is that it tends to be pretty heavy and the colors are very limited. I am fair to light with yellow undertones and had a hard time finding the right shade.
