Happy Birthday nailpolish by Lippmann Collection
May 25, 2010
I saw this shade in a magazine on a hand model and loved the way it looked. I've never bought a professional nail polish before since I go to a salon to have my nails done, and just use their OPI product there. I went ahead and ordered the nailpolish, though the price is a bit steep. I brought it to my nail salon during my last visit for them to apply. The nailpolish is thick, so you don't get a whole lot of glitter when you spread, but if you have a great nail stylist like I do, then you should have your stylist "stipple" the glitter on for you. It takes a little longer for the stylist, but it's well worth it. The shade just makes me "Happy", and I feel like I have a "party on my fingers". I've since receive several compliments on the shade. Of course just 2 days I ago, I had someone tell me you can buy multi-glitter nail polish at Walgreens for less than $5, but I am happy with my purchase....and I'm sticking to it!
ProsFun! Colorful! Different than other things you see.
ConsMust dab on nail polish in order to get the amount of glitter you would want, since spreading on the nailpolish doesn't keep enough glitter on the nail.
