Mama mio Body Buff has super-fine granules that are micro-ground natural pumice which is safe for all skin types. It is a fantastic and gentle alternative to aggressive salt or sugar scrubs (ouch!). Plus, it doesn’t melt when it comes into contact with water – so you don’t have to rush madly to exfoliate before your handful of salt disappears entirely. It is also set in a lovely creamy base make of Sweet Almond Oil, Chamomile and Vitamin E – so your skin ends up soft and smooth and nourished.

Exfoliation is a key step if you are serious about your skin. This is because exfoliation helps increase cell regeneration. Ever noticed how your kid’s scrapes heal so quickly? This is because of cell regeneration – when you are young cells turnover at a much more rapid rate and as you get older it slows down. Exfoliation helps speed it up which means more youthful looking skin. It also helps build your skins strength and elasticity. Finally exfoliation removes the dead skin cells which act as a sort of layer of cement over your skin. In clearing away this ‘dead skin cement’ (yuck) you ensure that any product you apply is more easily absorbed and utilised. Exfoliation ensures your product effectiveness is maximised.

Directions: You can decide how strong of a buff you want – if you are feeling feeble apply to wet skin or for a stronger gentle exfoliation apply to dry skin.
