A pressed mineral powder base with broad-spectrum sun protection.

• Water-resistant and highly pigmented
• Applies evenly and easily, providing long-lasting, gorgeous coverage
• Provides instant broad-spectrum, chemical-free UV protection
• Acts as a concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen
• Oil-, talc-, colorant- and paraben-free

Directions: Remove old pan by pushing with pin through hole at compact bottom. Refill by pressing gently into compact.

I've been buying this for years as it's the best product I've been able to find - but it still has its faults. It doesn't gloss up as much as the Bare Essentials mineral powder but it still has some glossy/dewy texture and is definitely not good for high humidity climates (a bad experience traveling in Philly taught me this). It's possible the Jane I. primer would fix this but I haven't tried it. The makeup falls in wrinkles as all other mineral foundations (I'm young and don't have many so it works for me but my mom tried it and couldn't use it). I buy it because I have very temperamental acne and rosacea and this is the best product I've found for minimizing breakouts (it's talc free) while having decent texture and *a color that matches my difficult-to-match skin tone*. Note: This product doesn't cure problematic skin; it's still makeup after all. I feel like this product requires a professional to match your skin tone unless you're a makeup artist or are really experienced with matching your own skin tone. Note: I've never given a makeup/beauty product a five star review, so I consider a 4-star product worth the money.

I've used Jane Iredale PurePressed Base now for years. It is excellent at smoothing uneven skin tones, it is easy to apply and it is very clean. Great product.

love the jane iredale purepressed base. Goes on well and is a great sunscreen. No need to put addiitonal screen on unless you are out in sun for extended periods. Good coverage for all types of skin, you can have more coverage based on how you apply it.

I have used Jane Iredale pure pressed powder for years. I have oily skin and this is the only product that covers with out settling in those wrinkles. Mid day I am able to blot excess oilyness but maintain coverage. My daughter has used this producet also with the same results.
