Is made from micronized minerals with the addition of antioxidants like pine bark extract and natural Vitamin E. It is slightly sheerer and more matte than the loose powders.

PurePressed Base is available in the same colors as the loose base (except for Cool Sand) plus eight darker shades ranging from deep gold to mahogany. It's packaged in a compact with a mirror and sponge.

I have used Jane Iredale PurePressed bases for many years and I would recommend anyone to try it for themselves how great this product works, even on problem skin types!

I really like this one. I used to use Bare Minerals in Fairly Light, but I didn't like the fact that it was a loose powder, which can be a bit messy sometimes. Jane Iredale in Warm Silk is a good match for me. I use Sigma's F84 brush with the base and it's amazing.

Pros:

- It's not a loose powder, but pressed
- ease of use
-gives radiant but semi-matte finish
-stays on

Cons:

- I would like a little bit more coverage for redness

I originally started off using her powder. Later on I found pressed base is a lot more convenient to use with the same coverage. I love Jane Iredale minerals and her lipsticks very much. I cannot find any brands in the market that can give the same quality.

Jane Iredale is one of the best mineral line out there. I love the texture of their mineral foundation, the coverage and how it stay all day. It's easy to apply with brush. I use the Handi brush with this foundation. It's great!
