Love it!

I used to use a different Jane Iredale masacara, but after trying a sample on of this, I was totally sold on it! It definitely makes my lashes look thicker and longer, with the little fibres in it. I'm late 40s and my lashes had got a bit thinner than they used to be, so this mascara works great for me.
I love it and am totally happy with it.

Good ingredients, but...

I love the ingredients, but it just doesn't stay on the eyelashes. I have very blonde lashes, so it's easy to see that the color fades away somwhere, even indoors and dry conditions.

Longest lash mascara

I have used this item for 4 years.

Pros:

it does make the lashed thicker and does not smear. I buy because I have allergies and it works well. Alternatively I cannot wear a mascara.

Cons:

It does not make the lashes longer and it is not easy to apply to nicely. you have to put on several layers.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

I was very disappointed. I have been using Latisse with very good results and hoped this would enhance the eyelash. I have had more satisfaction with Maybelline and much less expensive mascaras. This did not enhance or lengthen the appearance of the eyelash.

Cons:

Very expensive and did not lengthen or ehance the eyelash as advertised.

Excellent Color, Poor Consistency, Awkward Brush

I looked high and low for a light brown shade of mascara (here called soft blonde) and Jane Iredale was the only brand offering it. The color is superb for those who prefer an understated look but lash definition. The brush is too long and awkward and the mascara consistency is thick and on the gloppy side. The combination of bad brush and thick formula make the mascara difficult to apply naturally. And-----the price is outrageous!
