Jane Iredale - Absence (SPF 15) Oil Control Primer

Absence helps with all these challenges by forming an attraction barrier between the skin and makeup so that makeup can stay on longer, and skin stays shine-free.

Absence doesn't just absorb oil the way most oil-control products do, but actually helps to control over-active sebaceous glands. It has no effect on the actual moisture of the skin. The seaweed content in this product also helps to regulate the pH balance of the skin. You have to try this to believe it!

If all that isn't enough, Absence also has a broad spectrum SPF 15.

I was very skeptical of this primer, but I thought I would give it a try based on the good reviews I read online. Many primers collect inside my pores, making anything I put on top appear magnified and cakey. I also have very oily skin, and the thought of putting yet another layer on top was worrisome. But here it is, a steamy July in New England, and I have not had to use blotting papers in the 3 days since I started wearing Absence. It also primes my skin perfectly for the pressed powder, so it looks like I am wearing zero makeup. If potential buyers are concerned about the white mask-like look of this base, do not worry; it disappears completely, especially if you use the very soft Jane Iredale foundation brush. I am completely satisfied and will be ordering backups so I never run out.

Good for men too

Absence is colorless so I can use it as an oil control. I was recommended this product by my girlfriend. Never though that men can also use it. Great!
