| Begin with a clean face and prep skin with an oil-free moisturizer if needed.
ONLY A PEA SIZED AMOUNT IS NEEDED FOR A FULL APPLICATION
You may choose to apply our foundations or blushes with any of the following
tools:
FINGERS
Squeeze a pea sized amount onto the tips of your fingers then rub fingertips
together to warm product slighty and pat onto the center of the face and blend
outward.
FAST APPLICATION PAD
Squeeze pea sized amount to the pointed, beige fabric side of the pad (top
is only for decoration) then press into the center of the face and blend outward.
This tool helps to make the application of the foundation or blush very quick
and easy.
FOUNDATION BRUSH
Either squeeze a pea sized amount directly onto the brush and paint onto the
five main points of the face and blend or work in one area at a time, adding
more product as necessary. You may also use your fingers to apply the foundation
or blush onto the face and blend it out with the brush. The foundation brush
offers an “airbrushed” effect and more controlled coverage.
HOW TO MIX COLORS/FORMULAS:
If you are mixing two formulas or colors together simply squeeze a pea sized
amount of each onto either of these tools mentioned above.
1. Apply each foundation to the pointed end of the fast application pad, press
onto your skin and blend outward.
2. Apply each foundation directly onto the tip of the foundation brush and
blend it directly onto the skin OR you can use any type of a plastic lid and
use it as a pallet to squeeze the foundation onto then dip your foundation brush
onto the lid and paint your customized color/formula onto your face.
ADDITIONAL TIPS:
You are also able to use different formulas/colors in different areas of the
face for a custom look.
1. Use one shade lighter than your normal foundation color underneath and all
around the eye area, above the cheekbones and on the bridge of the nose to highlight
and accentuate areas of the face. Using a lighter shade helps to bring things
forward.
2. Use one shade darker than your normal foundation color to help shadow the
sides of your nose to make it appear more narrow and use it underneath your
cheekbones to help them appear more prominent.
3. Most commonly the Extra Coverage Foundation is mixed with either the Ultimate
All Day Foundation for a slightly less matte finish with a bit more coverage
and longer wear. Extra Coverage Foundation can also be mixed with the Fantastic
Finish Foundation for more intense coverage with the added moisture.
4. With either the Fantastic Finish or Ultimate All Day formulas, Extra Coverage
can be used as a concealer in conjunction to added coverage in problem areas
such as dark under eye circles, acne, rosacea, or any type of mild scaring or
hyper-pigmentation. All of the formulas have the same base ingredients so the
transition between formulas is invisible to the naked eye. |
